TOM MARSTON

Tom Marston has joined Behr’s Public Consultation team after a distinguished 32.5-year career with the Calgary Police Service. With over three decades of experience in law enforcement, he brings expertise in crisis management, team leadership, and strategic communication.

Tom served as a tactical team member for seven years, specializing as an entry specialist and bomb technician. He led high-risk calls in his final year and worked with the RCMP National Security Enforcement Section (NSES) on national security threats in the energy and transportation sectors. Additionally, he spent a year in Afghanistan training senior members of the Afghan National Police (A.N.P.) and returned to Canada to instruct on high-risk calls and the Incident Command Course.

His ability to navigate high-pressure situations and foster trust with diverse stakeholders makes him a valuable asset to our public consultation efforts, ensuring effective and transparent communication with communities on behalf of our clients.
