BRAD FOOTE

Brad has been working in the oil and gas industry since 2012, managing a diverse portfolio of client projects focused on Emergency Management Programs (EMPs) related to corporate operations, sweet and sour gas, SAGD, CEPA E2, and drilling and completions. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) to ensure regulatory compliance in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and with the Canada Energy Regulator. Additionally, Brad manages Behr’s field consultation team and has developed public awareness programs and conducted consultations across Western Canada for energy-related projects, addressing issues such as H2S, flaring, and pipeline damage prevention.

 

Before joining the oil and gas sector, Brad worked for municipal governments as a Law Enforcement Officer and First Responder, holding positions such as Deputy Director of Emergency Management, Safety Officer, and Dangerous Goods Inspector. He also served as a volunteer firefighter, rising through the ranks to Fire Chief. Throughout his career, Brad has responded to numerous emergencies, ranging from minor collisions to wildfires and flooding. His public sector experience has been invaluable in applying first responder and municipal emergency management principles to his work in Emergency Management.
