Chuck Brophy is a seasoned Professional Engineer with over 35 years of experience in operational risk management. Chuck is a Certified Information Security Manager who has a proven track record in project management, risk management innovation, and BCP solution delivery for a wide range of organizations across North America.

Chuck has developed, directed, and executed BCP audits for major clients to ensure process adherence to industry standards and best practices. With his background in systems engineering, ICS, and information technology operations management, he has command of the entire spectrum of BCP, from process analysis, IT risk assessment, to IT strategy implementation and integrated plan exercising. Recent clients include Chevron Canada, Husky Energy, ConocoPhillips, and ATCO Energy Solutions.

Some of Chuck's project highlights include:

  • Building the first BCP recovery centre in Canada.

  • Integration of incident response, recovery, and restoration across diverse organizations such as the Canadian Gas Association.

  • Developing software and processes to simplify and automate Business Continuity Planning.
