BRAD FOOTE

Brad has been working in the Oil and Gas industry since 2012. Brad has managed Emergency Response Planning programs related to corporate, sweet, sour, SAGD, E2, and drilling & completions. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of Emergency Response Plans to ensure regulatory compliance in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and the Canada Energy Regulator. Brad has also developed public awareness programs and conducted public consultations across Western Canada for energy related projects that include H2S, flaring and pipeline damage prevention. Other responsibilities have included developing client waterway control points, field mapping duties, summarizing and daily reporting of resident issues to clients, compiling/recording field data, as well as the coordination and facilitation of exercises and training.

Prior to 2012, Brad worked for municipal governments as a Law Enforcement Officer and a First Responder where he held the positions of Deputy Director of Emergency Management, Safety Officer and Dangerous Goods Inspector. Brad also spent many years as a volunteer firefighter working his way through the ranks from a rookie firefighter to Fire Chief. He has responded to hundreds of emergencies ranging from minor collisions to wildfires and flooding. His work in the public sector has allowed him to apply first responder and municipal emergency management experiences into his work in the Oil and Gas industry.
